We the members of Kenya Union Party; ACKNOWLEDGING the Supremacy of the Almighty God of all creation. RECOGNISING the Constitution as the supreme law of the Republic of Kenya. EXCERCISING our sovereign right as members and supporters of the KENYA UNION PARTY in aspiring to attain democratic governance based on principles of democracy, human rights, equality, freedom, social justice and the rule of law. PROUD of our ethnic, cultural and religious diversity, and determined to live in peace and unity as one indivisible sovereign nation. CONCERNED that our society continues to suffer from social injustice, political repression and economic deprivation despite constitutional gains and principles of devolution.

DETERMINED as the Kenya Union Party to provide innovative solutions and alternative discourse in creating a peaceful and just environment for the prosperity of all Kenyans. ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE this Constitution to ourselves as members of the Kenya Union Party and to our future generations.

The Registrar of Political Parties Anne Nderitu stated in a letter to the National Assembly leader of the Minority Party Opiyo Wandayi that the Kenya Union Party is not a member of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance coalition.
